General

There have been seven World Cups during 1999-2018 all gathering hundreds of players. The basic idea of the cups is that a level is published once in a week or two, and players try to get as good time as possible and then send the replay of the drive to us by a certain deadline, according to the rules. The results of the event are done some hours later and the better time you had, the better is of course your placement and also the more points you will get.

PeXi organized the first World Cup in 1999 and the second one almost right after the first due to popularity amongst the players. The two first wcups were played in Across and some of the prizes were actually new registered versions of Elasto Mania. Diplomas have been also created and send in most World Cups.

World Cup 3 was organized in 2000 after Elma was released. It was the first cup to have a famous pipe event. Rollercoaster level has been tradition since the very first wcup. WCup3 was also the first cup where PeXi didn't make most levels.

World Cup 4 was played in 2002 and Jappe2 has created a compilation video of the competition: part 1 and part 2.

World Cup 5 was organized in 2005 and there are also videos by Jappe2: part 1 and part 2.

World Cup 6 (2013) and 7 (2017) were not organized in Moposite but they had px's (aka PeXi) permission. Videos made by iCS: WCup 6 and WCup 7.

World Cup 1

There is a two weeks summer break between the 12th and 13th events in World Cup 1.

The exact deadline of each event is 16:00 EET on Sunday (reference). The exact starting time is "around 9-12 p.m. EET" (on Sunday) but it's known at least in WCup2 to be overrun (reference).

One week break exists during 2000-11-27 - 2000-12-03.
