Since 2024-04-14 I've done quite many changes and additions to the Elma Article. A detailed list of the updates (published today):

All the new unpublished material for the chapters
before Across 1.2 (1998-03-23) are added by now. The next goal is to go through the new unpublished Across 1.2 material I've got in the queue.

EOL 1.0.15 (Summer 2025 Update) at 12:17 UTC by Abula
Tested EOL 1.0.15 today, the newest EOL patch (2025-08-31). Get it here:

Replace the files and you should see a new option "Show FPS info" in eolconf which will show your FPS during the play. Great tool for vsync levels. The vsync value can be also set in the config.
Checkpoints were introduced in 1.0.14 (Summer 2024 Edition).
(The new version also lets you add hotkeys or aliases for OPT2 and OPT3 key combinations. This solves my macOS problem where I couldn't get OPT2 and OPT3 working at the same time, Hurrah!)

* Elma works in Linux via Steam (when Proton is enabled) (and via Wine?)

The official website has a huge update!
As a personal opinion it's pretty crazy to see new life around the official version! At least I'm supportive and want to believe it's more an opportunity than a risk. It would be fascinating to see again a new big push in the long history of the game.
Daniel, the representative of the Elasto Mania Team, will be available in Elma Discord channel #official to answer our questions about the future of the game. As I understood you should be able to see the historical messages as well so you can join later.
